Q. How far in advance do I have to book a telephone hearing?

A. As much notice as possible is best, but we can take booking up until 20 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Q. How long do telephone hearings last?

A. Most courts will schedule them for about half an hour, but in general most take about 15 minutes

Q. Can I take part using a mobile telephone?

A. The simple answer is yes, as a last resort. You should definitely not be travelling at the time though, as this will badly affect reception

Q. Does the Telephone Hearing have to be recorded?

A. Yes, the call must be recorded and a copy sent to the court.

Q. What information will I need to book a telephone hearing?

A. You’ll need the date and time of the hearing. The names and contact details of the participants, the name of the court, and any case numbers and file references you wish to attach to the call.
